Hakluyt’s South East Asia Headquarters is a gorgeous 4,650sf office with client entertainment area in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown.
Marrying the functionalities of an office with essentially the entertainment possibilities of a well-travelled, textured, wealthy and nuanced person’s home this is an office like no other. With high ceilings and large outdoor terraces, this stately space features iconic designer, paired with state of the art technology and up-cycled feature furniture.
The dining room’s 4.2m solid wood table top weighs 500kg and is made from re-used and re-designed Indian timber.

The Distillers Library by William Grant & Sons is set to host whisky connoisseurs and private collectors in Singapore and the region to tell that storied history. The space will be used to showcase a range of some of exceedingly rare whiskies from Glenfiddich and The Balvenie, as well as a collection of strictly private releases of the now-closed Ladyburn distillery.
Expressions you can find here include the likes of Glenfiddich 1995 Sherry Cask #34778, or The Balvenie 2000 Bourbon Cask #12800. Then there’s the Ladyburn Edition One – a single cask strictly limited to 210 bottles – that’s a collaborative project with British photographer David Bailey, which is a 54 year-old single cask Ladyburn 1966 Sherry Butt. And if you’re in the market to purchase entire casks from William Grant & Sons, it’s a conversation to be had in The Distillers Library.

In early 2019, this gem of a restaurant project opened its doors for business. Pasta Bar at KeSa House combines top notch freshly made pasta with outstanding hospitality and homely decor. Exposing the 100 year old brick of its townhouse location, Pasta Bar is brim with texture and warmth. The centre stage is occupied by its U-shaped open kitchen counter which showcases the chefs making fresh pasta and concocting other dishes. The counter itself is elegantly designed with a marble top and a shimmering bronze tile whose brushed surfaces reflect light individually in order to create a never-the-same shimmer. With custom-made furnitures, warm lighting and candle-lit tables, Pasta Bar is a uniquely homely place that is approachable and inviting.

Completely gutted from its predecessor, KēSa House features 60 unique, cozy yet modern rooms that relish the history of this row of 10 townhouses from the 1920’ies. With every room being a different size and shape and a multitude of building restrictions, this has been our most challenging project to date. The result is a wonderful concoction of old-meets-new and a hotel that even in its smallest rooms offers maximum functionality and fittings. Guests will be able to create their own ambience and sleep in the comfort of knowing that everything has been thought of in order to make their stay a comfortable and memorable one.
